Description of problem

The laptop's battery is bust so it doesn't work without charger. The charger used to work perfectly until a few weeks ago. It now needs it's ferrite bead to be twisted to a certain angle to work but this solution isn't working either now.

I've tried twisting the cable in many different ways but except that, nothing else.
