but i also have a bootable windows recovery on it too. how do i tell my pc to boot up the memtest and not the windows 10recovery upgrade thing?
basically i have one thing on my usb drive thats bootable but i also want to put another thing
if i were to copy the windows files off my usb and put them on my harddrive, if i pasted them back, would everything still be the same?
is memtest86 saying its possible i wont be able to use the drive ever again if it loses its capacity? should i format the drive before writing memtest?
im getting a ton of bsods, but windows 10 memtest found nothing. id hate to lose my ability to reinstall windows 10 because i chose to run a memtest on my only usb and found out that its not my ram. (i think it is though)
is memtest86 much better at finding failing ram than the stock memtest that comes with windows 10???
