Last Week

Recurring issue

No

Date of purchase

Under Warranty

Yes

Cause/Steps to recreate the issue

I plugged everything behind the monitor with the right cables:* DP to DP cable* DVI to HDMI cable* DVI to HDMI cable* HDMI to HDMI cable

What I've tried so far to resolve the issue

  • Tried to reinstall the graphics card driver from scratch, nothing changed.* Tried to use an older version of graphics card driver but it doesn't exist.

  • Tried to switch cables behind the monitor. The black area of the 4th just moves to another area of the monitor.

  • I had DVI-HDMI adaptors and purchased cables that are HDMI-DVI ready but it didn't help.

Is the graphics card really the problem? On AMD website it writes:AMD EYEFINITY TECHNOLOGY1 (MAXIMUM DISPLAYS) 3 with DVI/HDMI, 4 using DisplayPort, 6 with an MST hubThanks!
