OS SSD Died

Running Win 10... I typically leave my system on all the time. Turned it off over the weekend. When I checked it again, it was on and at the BIOS screen.

Long story short, it seems my OS SSD is dead. My data drive is still visible, but I’ve had no luck getting my SSD to reappear in BIOS (tried different SATA ports, power, etc.).

I created a win recovery USB (and tried Kyhi’s ISO) but all I’ve been able to reach so far is the win logo and spinning dots. Edit: I was finally able to reach the recovery screen with the Win Recovery, but it didn’t give me any workable options. I’m going to see if I can get Kyhi’s ISO to work.. perhaps I’m formatting the drive wrong. The ISO forces NTFS.

I realize I’ll likely need to buy another SSD, but I was under the assumption the recovery USB should get me into the Windows environment (I’d like to run diagnostics on the SSD). Am I mistaken, or is it possible there’s another issue at play?
