Need help with GPU

Have an acer laptop with intel-i7 processor, nvidia gtx 960m, 16gb ram. I’m playing PUBG on very low settings and only achieving 20/30 fps. I’m told I should be getting 50/60. I’ve updated to the latest driver already. What should I do ?

So yeah, the title says it all.. When i try to shut down or restart my PC, I get a screen saying a program is preventing shut down. But I don't know what to do to fix it. Where can i download the updated driver? Can't delete .ttf files.

The files names are, "gtaweap3.ttf" and "sampaux3.ttf". I have tried some other solutions on google and stuff but none of them are working. I've gone into the registry and none of that worked and went into the fonts folder and unticked "Details pane", but none works. When I try deleting the files it says the file is open in system.
