Ejecting issues with external hard drive and converted drives

First off running W10 Pro.

All of my external hard drives except one eject when using the icon in tray. Even if I close everything in W10 it says it is being used. Even if I only just plugged it in. Cannot get it to eject for the life of me. Have to reboot computer and unplug before BIOS picks it up.

Yes, Quick Removal is checked in Policies for this drive in Disk Management.

I am at a loss

Next issue is that I took 2 external drives out of their enclosures and put them into my computer case. They still show up in the tray icon as being removable.

How do I fix these issues please????
