Help setting up second network

Hi all! Looking to setup a network within a network!

I currently have a modem/router provided by my ISP (Spectrum), and want to setup a second router plugged into the Spectrum modem router to provide internet access for customers.

If I set the Asus RT-AC68U to Access Point mode, the customers will be on the same network correct?

Do I set the router address within the current block (192.168.0.1-255) or put it on it's own (192.168.1.100)?

It's been a while since I set something like this up without static IP address from modem/router.

Any help would be much appreciated!
