My laptop keyboard suddenly stopped working!?

I have an Acer Aspire E-15 laptop with Windows 10, and just today, out of nowhere, my keyboard stopped working. Every single key is unresponsive, with the sole exception of the power button. The mousepad is working just fine. My keyboard was working perfectly fine this morning, but stopped working a few hours later.

I use both the laptop keyboard and an external keyboard that I use for gaming. So I was gaming for an hour just today, and when I was done, I unplugged my computer from the power outlet and I unplugged the external keyboard as well, and I plopped down on the bed with my laptop, planning to watch some Netflix, when I realized that none of the keys worked.

I restarted multiple times and I updated the drivers. I don't know why this happened. I've had the laptop about 1 year now. I'm typing this on my external keyboard, which works just fine. I don't think it's anything hardware related, as I didn't spill anything on it. It seems to be a software issue, but I don't know what. The most recent install was some Microsoft Office Update today, but I don't think that would have shut down my keyboard.

Any solutions?
