Videos playing at super speed with normal speed audio before freezing

This started a few hours ago and is still happening, it doesn't matter what site I watch on or what I do to make it run better it will still happen. I found a forum with a solution but I cant do it on my laptop, it seems this doesn't go away until it's solved, any ideas on what to do?
