I have a GTX 960 that crashes when loading 3D game models
I have a GeForce GTX 960, I5 3.2 GHz, and 8 GB of RAM, tied with W7.
Whenever I load up a game (Recently, I've been smitten with Battlefront), it crashes on startup. So I try a different game. In the menus, the game works fine, no problems whatsoever. Whenever there seems to be 3D game models, the drivers crash.
I have tested this many times, through different games, and it seems to be the same, and all points to one thing, which is Directx. Unity works fine, but not Source.
To fix it, I have tried reinstalling my drivers through GeForce Experience, and have reinstalled the latest version of Directx my OS can handle (v.11.1, I think?).
Anyway, I've done everything I can think of, and though that perhaps Reddit can help.
Cheers!
