Both Speccy and OCZ's SSD Utility software is showing that my SSD is on SATA 2 3Gb/s even though its connected to the SATA 3 6Gb/s port on the motherboard. AHCI mode is on and the BIOS recognizes the SSD connection to the SATA 3 port. I tried both of the 6Gb/s Intel ports and I get the same thing, and the 6Gb/s Marvell port just doesn't let me boot at all. BIOS and SSD have latest firmware.
What is causing the SSD to be read as a SATA 2 when connected to a SATA 3 port? Thanks in advance!
