Description of problem

My monitor is a GN246HL. The issue I'm having is that when I run it at 144Hz, a popup shows up saying I need to use the cable provided (which I do not have).

The monitor runs at 144Hz perfectly fine, except for that annoying pop up.

I am using an active DVI-Display port cable that I purchased off Amazon from Tripp Lite.

If it weren't running at 144, I would assume a pin was bent or that the cable was defective, screenshots provided:

Cause/Steps to recreate the issue

Switching between 60Hz and 144Hz in Nvidia's control panel will recreate this issue for me.

Switching between both monitors and the 3 Displayport slots on my GPU.
