Left my laptop on over night to download the Witcher 3 off of steam, after 4 hours wifi showed limited connectivity

Description of problem

So I left my laptop on over night to download the Witcher 3 off of steam. It should have been a 9 hour download. I have a look in the morning and its only downloaded for 4 hours, my wifi was showing 'limited connectivity' but it was working fine on every other device in the house. Is this an error with the laptop? What could have caused it?

switched it off and on again(stndard stuff) and it worked!
