PSU exploded. Strange liquid found inside and below it.

So, last night my psu exploded, it was a cx600 from corsair (i know the hate it gets, but my system wasn't that demanding and everything worked fine for 4 years).

When i removed the psu, there was a liquid below and inside it. I have a h60, it's the only source of water that could have gone to the psu, but everything in my system was dry. Motherboard, gpu, not even a drop of water. Even the top of the psu was totally dry (it was a bit dusty, so it should be easy to spot water).

I left my h60 all night with paper around it so this morning i could see any sign of leaking, since there's still liquid inside it (kinda seems to be normal). No leakage sign.

What happened?
