Is there a built in SHA1 and MD5 string encryption in Win10?

Hi,

In light of the 711 million email account and password database being published. I would like to check if the passwords that my parents use have already been matched with SHA1 or MD5 hashes.

My parents are well into their 60s. They don't want to bother with downloading programs and doing this and that. So i want to create a small script that will take their passwords and convert them into SHA1 and MD5 hashes and save it in to a text document. I already have a perl implementation of this, but at a 138MB/500MB download just for perl is quite beefy and seems unnecessary.

So to start off with, i think something like a bat file would be the easiest with any SHA1 or MD5 builtin functions would be the best.

Does Win10 have built in SHA1 and MD5 functions to encrypt strings?
