Black screen when moving mouse between monitors in borderless windowed games

Today I got a new FreeSync, 144hz, 1440p monitor. I am using it as my primary monitor and my old monitor, a 60Hz 1080p monitor as my second monitor. This is the new monitor

I am running Windows 10 and have Game DVR stuff turned off.

I have run into a weird issue running games in borderless windowed. When I move my mouse out of the game onto my second monitor, and then move it back onto my primary monitor (the new one) the monitor flashes black as if it was changing the game to be full screen.
