I recently installed Samsung Magician and ran the performance benchmark on my SATA 2.5" 850 Evo. The software is reporting 4500MB/s sequential reads and 4300MB/s sequential writes.
I'm pretty sure this is physically impossible. Even the highest rated NVMe Samsung drives are only rated for 3500MB/s speeds.
Should I be worried that my drive may be failing? What else could be going on here? I do have "RAPID Mode" enabled, but I don't think that should have this sort of effect.
