Xbox 360 deleted my precious external USB Hard Drive

My brother plugged in our Hard drive to to Xbox 360 and lost photos and videos dating back to 2007. He tried to delete a video and somehow he deleted everything. Everything. This sucks and was wondering if there was anyway to get this stuff back? I know it's a long shot but it's a lot of memories. Thanks in advance.

Can't delete .ttf files.

The files names are, "gtaweap3.ttf" and "sampaux3.ttf". I have tried some other solutions on google and stuff but none of them are working. I've gone into the registry and none of that worked and went into the fonts folder and unticked "Details pane", but none works. When I try deleting the files it says the file is open in system.
