When I put my laptop to sleep when I wake it up this happens

This is what happens. The only thing i can do is hold the power button and force restart. I've had this laptop since January and it just started happening yesterday every so often. It's a Dell inspiron 15 7000 gaming edition running windows 10. i7-7700HQ CPU.
