PC won't start up normally unless power cord is unplugged and power button is held in beforehand. (Windows error 0xc000000e)
Hey there guys. My built PC has had this issue for a long while now and I'm pretty clueless as to exactly what it could be after searching around for something similar.
Basically, my PC functions perfectly normally when it is up and running. Additionally, I can shut it down and turn it back on without issue once. However, upon repeating this a second time (no matter how long or short between shut-downs) my motherboard's logo appears briefly only to be followed by this: http://ift.tt/2t3zav1
Strangely, I've been able to fix this by simply turning off my PC, unplugging it, and holding in the power button until an LED on my GPU goes off (ASUS GTX 970's light is basically always on when PC is plugged in for whatever reason, it's normal from what I've heard).
I've basically just gotten into the habit of unplugging my PC and repeating this process whenever I shut down, but this is obviously a band-aid to some deeper issue that I'd love to solve permanently.
These pictures were taken immediately after the previous one when I restarted my PC after I unplugged, held the power button, plugged it back in and booted it up. http://ift.tt/2sjz3i1 http://ift.tt/2t3zcmD
Thanks for any help, and sorry for the long post!
