Installed a new PSU and GPU in my PC yesterday morning, which was working perfectly before. Now, it fails to boot, and the monitor returns a no signal error.
I'm not exactly that good with building PCs (this was in fact my first time disassembling one), but me and a friend managed to install a Corsair CX550M PSU and an ASUS STRIX R9 380 2gb with what seemed like no hassle.
The fans span on the GPU and the CPU (which is an Intel i7-2600), so we assumed it was alright, as it hadn't blown up. We then realised that I didn't have a DVI cable for the monitor, so I waited until this morning to fire it up. As you can guess, nothing happens, and the monitor consistently returns a no signal error.
To fix this, I attempted to switch RAM slots, and I also reinstalled the GPU multiple times, to no prevail. My friend came round this morning to help, and by now, we have concluded that the cause of the problem is the result of important cables being unplugged from the mobo during the installation of the PSU and GPU.
I couldn't tell you much about the mobo, but all I know is that it's called a H67H2-EM V1, and that I presume it's manufactured by Medion, who are the OEM. So, not knowing much about the mobo itself, here are some pictures of the danger areas on it:
If someone can solve this problem, then I would really appreciate it, as I waited 3 years for this moment, and I don't want to let me stupidity when it comes to this matter ruin it. Thanks in advance, and query me if you need to know any extra.
