What type of connection is this - Is is SCSI??

Hi all. I'm looking for a SCSI CD ROM drive for an old music sampler. I think that's what this is, but the guy selling it didn't have any info on it. It definitely looks like SCSI to me, but compared to the other SCSI disk drives for sale it looks very slim and new so I got a bit confused. Are there any other connection formats that look similar?? Is there an IDE external connection for example? Thanks for your help guys!
