Old printer driver keeps reinstalling itself

HP Photosmart Wireless B110 All-In-One Driver Software 14.0 Rel. 7

This driver was for the printer at my parents house. I have since moved out (leaving the printer behind) and tried uninstalling the driver through the programs and features tab. It uninstalls (or appears to) and prompts for reboot. As soon as I reboot (or switch off/on), it is back again, in my program list, mocking me. I'd ignored the issue in the past but I'm now investigating a separate problem with hard freezing and want to eliminate this as the culprit.

I am wondering if the upgrade to win10 a couple of years ago did something to it, as it was originally installed when my machine was running win7.
