Cryptomining virus
I recently fucked up by downloading a setup file that was virus (rather obvious but I was burnt out and did not pay much attention at all). I ran malware bytes and afterwards Windows Defender (full scans) and it did find some stuff which I got rid off. But after a reboot or two malwarebytes started to stop a connection out to a website called de-mi-nis-ner.info which apparently has been linked to a cryptomining virus. At the same time I had a Chrome background process use up to 80% of the CPU but I don't think the GPU was touched. Every time I stopped the process but I never found out what it was and it seems to have all together stopped doing it since but there is still something that uses Chrome to try to access de-mi-nis-ner.info everytime Windows boots up. Is there a way to know which program uses Chrome to access the internet?
I've also checked my addons for Chrome.
