Acer aspire E15 not using its NVIDIA GEFORCE 940mx

My brand new acer aspire E15 comes with a NVIDIA GEFORE 940MX and intel core i5 7th gen. On reviews benchmarking games, i see the guy getting 140fps on minecraft whereas on mine, im only getting 30-40fps. When i click f3 , i see it says its using the intel hd graphics 620. How do i get higher fps and use the nvidia geforece 940mx to boost my fps on minecraft?
