Newly built PC, ethernet cable not connecting to internet.

Computer Specs:

i7 7700k - GTX 1070 ti - 16gb ddr4 ram - 650 wat PSU - MSI 270 Motherboard -

Operating System:

Windows 10

The Error:

ipv4 and ipv6 no internet access.

What I've tried:

All of the hardware in the PC looks to be operational, with no problems at all. So far I have tried manually inputting the ip addresses, with no success. Uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for the ethernet. I have also attempted multiple of the options in the BIOS, without any luck. I of course also tried to unplug and replug the ethernet cable and reset the modem.
