Newly build pc: screen randomly turns black and audio loops

hi everyone

so i had issues with my pc randomly freezing for a while now and i tried many things to solve it, i re-installed windows last night and for a long time it looked like it did the trick but now instead of freezing or crashing my screen turns black, my monitor says either power save mode, or that it is not connected, and my background audio loops, my friends in discord could no longer hear me once this happened, this triggers between 1 to 7 hours, and if my pc has been running for that long it shortens to every 30 minutes or so.

my main suspect is a faulty hard drive, i tried to run a disk check but its been on 10% during ''scanning and repairing drive (C:)'' for 30 minutes and then the same thing happened again where my screen turns black etc, i just need to be sure before i can take any action

anyone got any idea of what it might be or what to do next?
