The tip of my headphones' jack broke, but they still work in my Blue Yeti mic. They don't work when I plug them into my laptop though. Why could that be?

I broke the tip off while using the mic, but there is no tip in the mic as far as I know, and other headphones do still fit in the port. Could there be a reason for this? Should I worry?
