Running Windows 10 on Dell XPS 15 9560, i7 Processor.
Recently my laptop starting running hot and after having a look in the task manager i noticed there was a process taking up between 60-80 percent of my CPU usage.
After looking closer i noticed it was a SVChost.exe service. I understand the usual process is to right click on the SVChost.exe in the details tab, and follow "go to service(s)" and find out which exact service it is from there, and change the start setting to manual or disable it altogether.
But when I right click to get to services, nothing is selected when come to the Services tab. Therefore Im unable to narrow down which service is causing the high CPU usage.
Is there anyway i can eliminate these processes from taking up CPU usage? Ive also had multiple blue screen errors with the error code "Critical_Process_Died" as a result of this.
Please let me know if anyone knows a fix for this.
