How do I tell google to stop omitting words from my searches?

Ie, let's say I search for:

foo bar bat baz

Google decides to show me results for: foo bar bat

and leaves baz out. Well, baz was absolutely crucial for my search, and I can't figure out why I'm getting tons of irrelevant results until....oh. It was trying to be "smart."

The solution is to wrap each word individually in quotes, which is extremely annoying.

There has to be a solution.

Thanks!
