So we have a subscription of Solidworks 2017 at work however before I could get the subscription working on my system I downloaded a Solidworks 2016 crack. I used this version for maybe a week and then have been using Solidworks 17 ever since. Well, my work have received an email that our organisation are using a cracked version. Stupidly I didn't uninstall the cracked version so I guess this has been calling home.
What can I do to wipe evidence of this from my PC? I have full admin control and have uninstalled and reset the PC, removing everything. I think I have read before that they can track you through your IP and MAC address, if so can I just change my MAC address to solve this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
