Stadia Savepoint: October updates

It’s time for another round of our Stadia Savepoint series, recapping the new games, features and updates on Stadia.

In October, Stadia Pro subscribers claimed and played the more than 30 games in our growing library of titles. That included newly-added Pro games like Hello Engineer, which is available First on Stadia with State Share support, plus DreamWorks Spirit Lucky’s Big Adventure, Cake Bash, Mafia III Definitive Edition and Control Ultimate Edition. On top of that, Pro subscribers had access to Free Play Days for Borderlands 3 and Dead by Daylight.

New games on the Stadia store teleported players to a massive, open-world multiplayer sports playground in Riders Republic, while others trained to become the most powerful fighters in the universe in DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT. Stadia players were also the first to take on Anton Castillo’s regime in the action adventure game Far Cry 6, playable instantly at launch with no downloads.

A gif includes the title screen of DOOM Eternal, combat shotgun gameplay, and red and purple slides that say to compete with friends using State Share support.

October also marked more than 25 games on Stadia that support platform features like State Share, Stream Connect, Crowd Play and Crowd Choice. With State Share added to DOOM Eternal’s Horde Mode, Crowd Play in Serious Sam 4, permanent Stadia store categories, and new Help Center articles, there are more resources than ever to help you change the way you play your favorite Stadia games.

October also brought new Stadia features for players:

Direct touch support on iOS

Interact directly with a game using your iOS phone’s touch screen by tapping, sliding and pinching with your fingers — now available within HUMANKIND on Android and iOS.

The HUMANKIND direct touch menu shows instructions and diagrams entitled "Tap" "Drag" and "Hold".

Public parties

Public parties provide a new way to find and connect with users who want to play the same games as you.

A sequence of three images shows the Stadia UI with orange highlighted instructions for creating public parties, with lists of games to choose from and join.

Parties and voice chat on Android

Communicate with friends in parties on Android over both voice and game chat.

Bulk Capture deletion on web

Remove multiple Captures at a time with ease, making more room for your favorite game states, video clips and screenshots.

New content announced in October for Stadia:

That’s all for now — as always, we’ll be back next month to share more updates. In the meantime, keep an eye on the Stadia Community Blog, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter for the latest news.

certain keys on my keyboard dont work when "cold"

Hi guys, i have a Lenovo Y520-15IKBN (80WK) and certain keys on the keyboard don't work (e,g,h,8,9,Fn...) but only when the weather is cold. for example in the winter it used to work after certain amount of time when i first boot the laptop and stops working when i stop using it for a while, but now that the weather is hot it works just fine except for the first couple of minutes or when its colder. of course i do realise that it has nothing to do with the outside weather but with the temperature of the computer itself. can someone explain to me why this is happening and how it should be fixed as i cannot take it to the tech service until july even though it's still under warranty because i need it for school. ps: an external keyboard works fine. Old PC with a Foxconn n15235 motherboard needs drivers! Help!!

So my Pc corrupted and I had to fresh install windows on it, but now its missing 3 drivers and one of them is for the Ethernet controller! I've tried searching everywhere for the windows 7 drivers but all I seem to find are some dodgey programs saying they will install it for me. Problem is without the ethernet driver I can't bloody connect to the internet. I've been using a USB to try get some drivers on there, but they just end up being useless programmes . I'm also a bit of a noob at these things, I don't understand where to find the names of things in my PC, I've opened it up but I don't understand whats significant and what isnt. If someone has the drivers and can teach me how to install them I'd be very appreciative! Submitted April 29, 2018 at 02:47PM by darrilsteady https://ift.tt/2r76xMZ
